Comparative Sales Report for January 2019
As we have seen in the past, a large December can lead to a smaller January as many may be trying to buy or sell for tax purposes. This month there was only 1 single family home sale in Telluride and 1 in Mountain Village. The low number of single family home sales coupled with low condo sales, only 3 condos in Telluride and 6 in Mountain Village sold, contributed to San Miguel County being below the 5 year average dollar volume and lower dollar volume than the individual years 2016, 2017 and 2018 for January. There was a large vacant sale in Mountain Village – Lot 104 & Lot 89-2C for $3.975 million, which was the largest dollar volume sale of the month.
