Albert, a native of Kingston Pennsylvania , moved to Telluride 30 years ago. His first job in Telluride was as the controller for the newly opened Doral Peaks Hotel.

"I was working for Canyon Ranch in the Berkshires as a financial analyst, 2 spa consultants were talking outside my office door about Doral building a giant Spa in the Rockies, since I was loving the spa business and spent all of my vacation time in Colorado skiing, it seemd like a perfect opportunity."

Steve Butts hired Albert to be the President of Telluride Properties 19 years ago and upon Steve's untimely death, Albert became a co-owner along with Polly Leach-Lychee.

He is also a co-owner of the Telluride Yoga Festival and Telluride Yoga Center.

Albert always has a smile on his face and makes everyone around him feel special. He is the glue that binds everyone together at Telluride Properties.

That's where he met Telluride Properties founder, Steve Butts, who hired Eric to be his assistant. A direct quote from Eric, "and I went on to become a mythic figure in the real estate industry - Chuck Norris buys real estate through me." Hence, why he is the guy that keeps us all laughing.

All jokes aside, Eric is one of the hardest working guys in real estate, just ask anyone he works with. He's also one of the raddest dads out there, making time to coach his son's hockey and baseball teams, which he enjoys immensely. Eric and his wife Alyssa, the rockstar owner of the Pedal Den, are very grateful to be living the dream and raising their family here in Telluride.

Eric is also a former President of the Just For Kids Foundation, former President of the Telluride Association of Realtors, One to One Mentor for 11 years, & a former Telluride Search and Rescue Team Member.

Mike (Shimmy) Shimkonis, a native of Orlando Florida, moved to Telluride 28 years ago. His first job in Telluride was as a spokesperson for the Telluride Ski & Golf Company. When making the transition to real estate, he told Telluride Properties founder Steve Butts that he would be interviewing him and not the other way around. Butts admired Shimmy's "chutzpah", hiring him on the spot. Shimmy now operates as Shimkonis Partners, alongside brokers Asa Van Gelder & Anna Wilson.
