Stephen Cieciuch (Chet-chu)

We have been coming to Telluride since 1983. Each time we visited we kept saying to ourselves, “Buy something. Buy something.” About a year ago we decided that 25 years was a long enough “get acquainted period”. We felt fortunate, then,  to meet Steve Cieciuch to guide us much more deeply and carefully into a place that we thought we knew well, but it turns out we were puppy dogs compared to the experience of Steve. Steve helped us learn about the wide variety of locales in the Telluride region…..from the Mesas, to the Village, the town above Pacific, the town below Pacific, and more. Together we explored acreage far away and close to town, homes of all shapes and sizes, and in the process Steve learned about our needs, our tastes, and our temperament. In the dark financial days of April 2008, Steve called to say, “I may have found it. You must see this home. “ He was right. Karen flew to Telluride the next day and made an offer. And we are now loving our newly purchased Aldasoro home and learning even more about this place we love called Telluride. In buying our house, we’ve come to appreciate Steve even more than we did before. At the end of the day, that’s probably the best testimonial we could give. And we give it with full and firm conviction that he’s one in a million as a skier, fisherman, father, and person you should be working with if Telluride is in your sites.
